Dan McQueen in Person – DMT, Cannabis, and Psychedelic Therapy Meetup hosted by Psychedelic Club of Denver
Join the Psychedelic Club of Denver for an evening with Daniel McQueen!
Daniel McQueen, MA, is a Psychedelic Specialist, Educator, and Author of the book, Psychedelic Cannabis: Therapeutic Methods and Unique Blends to Treat Trauma and Transform Consciousness. In 2012 he co-founded the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness which is a psychedelic plant therapy clinic located in Boulder, Colorado. The same year, Daniel also founded Psychedelic Sitters School, which continues to train students from around the world in Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Therapy and Cannabis-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy.
In 2012 Daniel McQueen co-founded one of the first legal psychedelic plant medicine clinics in the country. For the past 10 years, he has been dedicated to developing the modality of Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Therapy and sharing his skills with others. As he celebrates this milestone, he reflects upon the experience and is looking forward to sharing the lessons and valuable nuggets of wisdom he has ascertained over the years.
Although cannabis has become a popular substance in recreational culture and, more recently, been recognized for its medicinal qualities, the psychedelic potential has yet to remain unstudied through an empirical lens. After publishing the newest edition of his book, Psychedelic Cannabis, Daniel is intent on launching a cannabis research project to be able to quantify the psychedelic aspect of cannabis and build the research to back the success and deep healing that he has found in sessions with his clients.
Additionally, in 2016 Daniel McQueen launched the DMTx Program which was designed to research and explore the potential of Extended-State DMT experiences. Building upon the work of Rick Strassman, Daniel is making headway into the logistical realm of implementing this project and is excited to share the newest updates.
This meeting is for educational purposes. Attendance is free and open to the public.
