Ketamine-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy Specialty training offered by the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness teaches students how to work with ketamine lozenges and intramuscular injections under medical supervision. This training emphasizes a well-supported, therapeutic, and transpersonal session protocol suitable for both clinical and spiritual applications. Each student has the opportunity to guide and journey twice with ketamine.
The program consists of a combination of webinars, six weekly classes, and six-days of intensive training with available ongoing supervision and advanced credentialing for students. The training covers various aspects, including the theoretical understanding of the clinical and psychospiritual applications of ketamine, experiential best practices, practicum sessions, skill development related to preparation and integration, ketamine research, art-based psychedelic integration, somatic integration techniques, and administration methods (lozenge and intramuscular). Additionally, the curriculum addresses topics such as ethics, safety, accessibility, legal considerations, and the role of mindfulness in the context of Ketamine-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy.
This training is suitable for psychotherapists, ministers, medical professionals, and non-licensed professionals who have completed prior psychedelic guide training. It is unique in its combination of academic, clinical, practical, and experiential elements. Qualified trainees have the opportunity to participate in ketamine sessions and gain hands-on experience under medical oversight, making this program an in-depth and immersive learning experience for those interested in the clinical applications of Ketamine-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy.
