About Carol Benton, CHt, CPC

Certified Hypnotherapist, Transformational Coach, and Small Group Leader for Psychedelic Sitters School

Carol Benton, CHt, CPC, is a clinically certified hypnotherapist, transformational coach, psychedelic integration support provider, & Cannabis-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy guide with a private practice in Encinitas and Los Angeles, CA. She graduated with Honors and Awards from the prestigious Hypnosis Motivation Institute, the first nationally accredited college for hypnotherapy training in the nation. Carol a B.A. in Communications and has completed MAPS Zendo training, Oaksterdam University semester program in cannabis horticulture and business practices, advanced training in Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Therapy (levels 1-3) and Psychedelic First Aid with the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness.

Carol facilitates individual cannabis-assisted psychedelic therapy sessions for clients, both in person and online, and Conscious Cannabis Ceremony Meditations for small (online for now) groups. Carol also facilitates a monthly peer supervision Zoom call for other Psychedelic Sitters School graduates and Cannabis-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy practitioners as a shared community resource.

In addition to having a love of gardening for (the) herb and vegetables, Carol has a passion for music and enjoys creating playlists for the sessions she facilitates. The focus of her work is “ to help others live in alignment with the mind body spirit connection and reclaim a life infused with JOY, LOVE and PEACE as our rightful heritage. “ Carol believes that through releasing the stored energy around trauma, changing our thoughts and subconscious programming, we improve the world around us and move towards a life of expanded possibilities. She is a BiPOC & LGBTQIA ally and uses the pronouns she/her/hers.
